PlatformAccount menu · Plan & billing
Everything is priced per site, per month, excluding VAT. Every workspace pays for the Platform (£129): the shared booking board, driver check-in at the gate sign, contacts, waiting times, carrier compliance, and the first 5 office and 3 floor logins. The Carrier & supplier portal, TV wallboard and Orders come with it at no extra charge, and so does the console assistant (the companion), on a smaller model with 200,000 tokens a month.
Everything else is a module you switch on:
- Warehouse & racking (£119 a month). Your own aisles, racks and levels. Goods in, put-away and stock takes.
- Case picking (£99 a month). Directed picking on the phone, with replens and shorts raised where they happen. Switching it on brings Warehouse & racking with it.
- Deliveries & evidence (£69 a month). Declared against actual, paperwork photographed, and a pack you can send to anyone.
- Telematics & ETAs (£69 a month). Where the lorry actually is, against the slot it was given.
- Companion Pro (£49 a month). The assistant on the larger model, Claude Sonnet, with 2,000,000 tokens a month.
- Meat traceability (£399 a month). Batches, transformations, recall drills, GS1-128 labels and the label designer.
A bench station is a licence for one bench, £89 a month each, and only works alongside Meat traceability. A haulier yard pays for the platform and nothing else; a cutting plant pays for traceability and its benches. The pricing page has the same figures and lets you build a plan before you sign up.
Three plans, or build your own
Most sites start from one of three plans. Each is the platform plus a set of modules, priced the same way as everything else:
- Platform (£129 a month). The shared booking board, driver check-in at the gate sign, contacts, waiting times, the carrier portal and the TV wallboard.
- Warehouse (£347 a month). Everything in Platform, plus goods in, put-away, stock takes and case picking on the phone.
- Meat processor (£617 a month). Everything in Platform, plus batch traceability, recall drills, labels and one bench station.
The platform on its own is a plan: £129 a month, nothing else to buy. Build your own is the same list of modules as switches, for anything in between. Plan & billing shows the three plans at the top and the switches underneath.

Changing your plan
Owners and managers can open Plan & billing; only the owner can change what is paid for.
- Every change is priced before it happens. Tap a module and the monthly figure on the right moves to show what you would pay. Nothing is charged on this page. The next screen is Stripe’s; the price is checked there first, and the change stops if the two figures ever disagree.
- On a running subscription, Apply changes switches modules on or off there and then, and the difference is pro-rated onto your next invoice. Put it back how it was undoes a change you have not applied.
- Seats and benches are counted on the same page. Add office or floor seats when the included ones run out. For a bench, add a bench station to the plan, then press Generate a station key under Bench stations; the key is shown once, so write it down or type it into the bench there and then.
- Assistant tokens are a meter, not a module. If the month’s allowance runs out, Buy more tops it up: the first press shows what the packs cost, and the second takes you to Stripe to pay for them.
- Getting set up is offered alongside Meat traceability, the one module with real work in front of it. Do it ourselves is free; otherwise pick Remote start (£1,500), Essential setup (£2,500) or Full commissioning (£7,500). Picking one is a request, not a purchase: we agree the scope in writing and send a separate invoice, never part of your plan. Full commissioning is two days on site, so it is offered to UK sites only. Change withdraws a request.
- Cards, invoices and cancelling are on Stripe’s own pages, opened with Manage billing. Card details never reach DockLedger.
The trial, and when it ends
Every new workspace starts with 14 days free, or 30 if it was set up for a warehouse or meat traceability. No card is needed to start. The trial runs on the plan you picked when you signed up.
You can switch modules on and off during your trial. On Plan & billing, the owner taps a plan or a module and it applies straight away: the pages appear in the menu, or go from it, with nothing charged. When you are ready, Start your subscription takes you to the payment page with whatever is switched on. You can start at any time, and the first payment is still taken on the day the trial would have ended, so paying early costs you nothing.
If the trial or the plan ends with nothing in its place, the office console stops at a notice until the owner chooses a plan; everyone else is told who to ask. If the workspace is still without a plan 90 days after that, it is deleted with everything in it, and the owner is sent an email 14 days before the date. Choosing a plan before then keeps it. If a renewal payment fails, you get a warning with a date on it and seven days to sort the card before anything stops.
