Goods-in checked against the delivery note, line by line, on a phone.
The checker takes each pallet off on a phone or a scanner gun, and the office sees the delivery against its note while the lorry is still on the bay, when a shortage is cheap to argue about. 14 days free (30 with Warehouse & racking), no card. Start in a sandbox already full of a week’s bookings.
Drivers, checkers and carriers never need a login. Floor staff are £12.

What the checker does, and what the office sees
Not a stock system with a goods-in screen added on. This is what DockLedger's goods-in does today, from the bay to the slot, with put-away in Warehouse & racking.
The delivery note, line by line
What the supplier declared sits beside what the checker scanned. Each difference is named: nothing scanned, fewer than the note, more than the note, not on the note. A part pallet is a suggestion to recount with the driver watching.
The photographed note, read
Photograph the delivery note or CMR and its lines are read and kept beside the photo as a proposal, never as a line of the delivery. The checker decides every difference. Reading a photographed note is part of Deliveries & evidence.
Probe temperature, judged on the spot
Each reading is judged against your site's own bands, chilled and frozen. A reading outside its band puts the pallet on hold straight away, with the reading and the band as the reason, until the office releases it.
A plate on every pallet
The plate is the pallet: scanned first, then the supplier's GS1-128 label if it has one, so the SSCC, batch, use-by and case count are read rather than typed. A label from another booking, or one already received, is flagged before anything is recorded.
Scans queue when the signal drops
Pallets, counts, photographs and the driver's signature are held on the phone and sent when signal returns, and the screen says how many are waiting. Only minting new plates needs a signal.
A difference settled while the driver is there
A delivery that does not match cannot release the driver until the office has accepted the difference and said why. The reason goes in against a name and a time. From the same record, raise a claim on the supplier with the photographs attached.
The full walk-through, step by step, is in Goods in, step by step. Phones, scanners and signal are answered in the common questions. Once a pallet is accepted it can be put away to your own racking: see warehouse management for food, and for meat sites BRCGS traceability software.
What it costs
Goods in comes with Warehouse & racking, Deliveries & evidence or Meat traceability. The line-by-line check and the photographed paperwork are Deliveries & evidence.
Put-away to a slot needs Warehouse & racking. Add it when you want pallets to have an address; a delivery-only or cross-dock site can stay without it.
