DockLedgerStart free trial

A yard management system for UK warehouses and hauliers.

Gate-in and gate-out on a live board, waiting time the server computed rather than someone’s memory, and a detention rate on file before the argument starts. 14 days free — 30 with warehouse or traceability. No card. Start in a sandbox already full of a week’s bookings.

Drivers, checkers and carriers never need a login. Floor staff are £12.

The Yard and gates screen: one lorry past its free time, the bays on a plan of the site, and the waiting yard.

The argument you can actually win

A demurrage claim is only as good as the record behind it. Here is what DockLedger keeps on the yard side of the gate.

  • Gate-in, gate-out, in real time

The live queue at the barrier — who has signed in, who is on which bay, who has left — updated the moment it happens, not when someone gets round to a spreadsheet.

  • Waiting time, computed and stored

Every wait is worked out from the server's own check-in and departure timestamps, not typed in after the fact — so it holds up when a haulier disputes it.

  • Detention and demurrage, on file

Each carrier's free time and hourly detention rate are held on their contact record, so an evidence pack can put an actual figure on a long wait, not just a claim.

  • Telematics and ETAs

Link a haulier's own Webfleet or Samsara account, or let a driver share live location from their phone with no app — positions arrive against the slot they were given.

  • Your yard, on a plan

Gates and today's bookings laid out on a plan of the site itself, so a new starter can see where everything is without being shown around.

What it costs

Waiting time and detention rates are Platform — they come with the trial. The gate-in board and the site plan are part of the Warehouse & racking module, because both read the same aisles, racks and slots that module maps.

Telematics is priced on its own, because plenty of sites only ever want the yard half of the module, never the racking.
